ENGINE MONITORING THROUGH MOBILE PHONE


The running of the motor is continuously monitored and can be changed according to the user requirement. This project uses the most reliable wireless communication, GSM to carry on with the application.
  The modem provides the communication interface. It transports device protocols transparently over the network through a serial interface. A GSM modem is a wireless modem that works with a GSM wireless network. A wireless modem behaves like a dial-up modem. The main difference between them is that a dial-up modem sends and receives data through a fixed telephone line while a wireless modem sends and receives data through radio waves.

SMS BASED BANKING SECURITY SYSTEM


Security is primary concern for every one. There are many ways to provide security at homes, banks or in industries. This Project describes a design of effective security alarm system that can monitor the house with different sensors using GSM modem.
Bank Security System is a security system using wireless concept that monitors the status of each sensor continuously. The status of these different sensors is monitored continuously and whenever any of the sensors is triggered or activated, the response is identified by the controlling unit using LED indication and also the burglar alarm will be activated.

INDUSTRIAL APPLIANCES CONTROL USING TV REMOTE



ABSTRACT
           In this project we are going to develop an embedded system, which will control all the industrial devices with commands from a Remote device through IR.The IR light is invisible light about 950 nm wavelength. One biggest problem in using IR light is that there many other sources of it like sun, light bulbs, fire. In order to exclude other sources, IR signal is modulated by some frequency. Receiver has to be tuned for this frequency. Mostly remote controls transmit IR signal using 36 kHz frequency signals. Transmitting and coding is one part which can be done more easily than receiving and decoding.

DC MOTOR SPEED AND DIRECTION CONTROL USING IR



The main aim of this project is to control the speed and direction of DC motor using IR remote. For controlling the speed we are using PWM technique. A pulse width modulator (PWM) is a device that may be used as an efficient DC motor speed controller or light dimmer. This project is a versatile device that can control DC devices which draw up to a few amps of current.
A PWM circuit works by making a square wave with a variable on-to-off ratio, the average on time may be varied from 0 to 100 percent. In this manner, a variable amount of power is transferred to the load. The main advantage of a PWM circuit over a resistive power controller is the efficiency, at a 50% level, the PWM will use about 50% of full power, almost all of which is transferred to the load, a resistive controller at 50% load power would consume about 71% of full power, 50% of the power goes to the load and the other 21% is wasted heating the series resistor.

STEPPER MOTOR CONTROL USING IR



The project deals with the design and development of hardware and software for Wireless Stepper motor control system.
Rotating the motor anticlockwise or clockwise, or completely stop the motor can be done easily with an IR remote without actually going near the motor switches and operating them manually. The manual operation of the motor is completely avoided in this project.
IR remote acts as the transmitter in this project. When a button is pressed in the remote, the signal will be passed and received by the IR receiver TSOP Receiver.

ENERGY SAVER FOR AUTOMATIC ROOM LIGHT CONTROLLER WITH VISITOR COUNTER

      In this competitive world and busy schedule human cannot spare time to perform his daily activities manually. The most common thing that he forgets to do is switching OFF the lights wherever they are not required. This project is a standalone automatic room light with visitor counter. The main aim of the project is to control the lights in a room depending upon lighting that is present in the room and count the number of persons entering into the room. Use of embedded technology makes this closed loop feedback control system efficient and reliable.
 The system comprises of an IR Transmitter-Receiver pair which is located in front of the door outside the room.

AUDITORIUM CONTROLLING SYSTEM USING IR


In auditoriums, the lights and fans will be switched on before the show so that there will be no disturbance to the audience while the program is going on. But sometimes due to the weather conditions, we need to operate them in between the show. This may create inconvenience to the audience while the operators move here and there to operate the lights or fans. And even the wires associated to these lights and fans will be running on the floors and in the dark, the audience may feel inconvenience while walking out or coming inside the auditorium as they slip down. To avoid all these problems, we have designed a project that completely eliminates cable wires and the operators to operate the lights and fans in the auditorium.

AUTOMATIC RAILWAY GATE CONTROL SYSTEM USING IR


               This project is a standalone Automation of unmanned railway gate control system using AT89S52 microcontroller. Use of embedded technology makes this closed loop feedback control system efficient and reliable. Microcontroller allows dynamic and faster control. AT89S52 micro controller is the heart of the circuit as it controls all the functions.
 The main aim of this project is to automize the unmanned railway gate i.e. the gate is closed automatically whenever the train comes and is opened after the train leaves the railway-road crossing. Using this project, the arrival of the train can be identified in either direction. For this purpose, two IR transmitter and receiver pairs are used in this project.  LCD is provided to display the information about the arrival and departure of the train.
