The
project aims at designing a system to guide the aged people by
announcing the name of the thing requested by the user using voice alert
and zeegbee technology. The system contains control systems,
manipulators, power supplies and software all working together to
perform a task.
The
system accepts the input from the user’s voice. The voice IC interfaced
with the microcontroller allows the system to store a good number of
messages. Thus, the system initially stores the voice messages using the
IC in the record mode. Each message will be assigned with a unique
number.
Thus,
in the play mode, when the user presses a particular option on the
touch screen, the zeegbee receiver in the system receives this input and
passes the data to the controller. Thus, the controller reads this
message and compares this with the already saved data. If this data
matches with any of the stored data, the system plays the word stored
under this particular number and this can be heard through the speaker.
If the data, given through the zeegbee, does not match with any of the
stored data, the system simply says that it is an error.
The
system also allows the user to record and play the messages at any
time. If the user wants to record a new message, he has to erase any of
the already stored messages if the memory of the voice is full.
